Gary Simpson - OK Cheri. The introductions are over (chuckling). Let's get down to business. What may be the principal aim of one's website and what do you aspire to achieve with it?

Cheri Merz - when I started it, I hoped to encourage people my age to hold working toward their goals. Let me explain that. I encourage people not quit because of your artificial assumption that their age means they are less more likely to succeed. I also need to promote several products and services which may have reduced the problem to realize some financial goals of my own.

Gary Simpson - That sounds very worthwhile. Anything else?

Cheri Merz - I'm hoping a by-product of the will allow me to include a tiny stream of income to my primary income. The website has evolved into what promises to offer me using a really engaging super-hobby for that all my life. And I Also wouldn't mind what's more, it allowing me to produce some income in retirement, if I ever choose to retire.

Gary Simpson - They are excellent motives Cheri. What do you think that differs about your website that can make it special?

Cheri Merz - The most obvious difference, and I say this with pride, is my site was produced by Linda Caroll. She did a spectacular job of making it reflect my personality. I trust it looks very professional compared to the majority of what I have seen on the web. Apart from that Linda has also made it quite simple for me personally to keep and make onto it on my small own. Additionally, the website was inspired by my grandfather's life story so, of course, that can make it special to me.

Gary Simpson - Cheri, I can attest to Linda's skill. She also built my website and everything which you said about what she did for you personally holds true for me personally too. Cheri, before we proceed I'd want to request you to expand somewhat on the grandfather. Why is his story so inspiring to you?

Cheri Merz - My grandfather began two new careers after he officially retired. He also married for your second time at the age of 92. There's actually quite a little bit more - you'll have the ability to find the remaining of the story on my small True Inspiration page, inside story titled "The Groom Was 92".

Gary Simpson - Wow, he sounds like he was a good remarkable guy.

Cheri Merz - He certainly was. I am very pleased with him.

Gary Simpson - On your own note, what does one consider to get your "crowning" achievement to date?

Cheri Merz - Learning to acknowledge and value my gifts.

Gary Simpson - Well that was a really short and swift answer. How long made it happen take you to attain that goal?

Cheri Merz - I'm still focusing on achieving it Gary. However, I feel that I am now reaching it at higher and levels. Perhaps I could claim that I begun to like myself round the ages of fifty-five.

Gary Simpson - I can connect with that. Maybe that realization comes to all people ultimately depending on the experiences that individuals have gone through or personal trials that we now have had to endure. Cheri, what could be the greatest difficulty you have ever was required to overcome across the way?

Cheri Merz - Oh Gary! Anyone who reaches my age and raises four kids has so many difficulties to decide on from. I guess probably the most difficult, after learning to value myself, was something I was required to arrived at terms with before I could move on. I'm referring to reconciling my feelings about my divorce.

Gary Simpson - Cheri, if what a painful subject...

Cheri Merz - No. I don't mind referring to it. Well, not now anyway - greater than 27 years as soon as the event. You see, I was raised to think that the failed marriage was the greatest failure. For a long time I felt horrible guilt when planning on taking my boys from other father. It was difficult to reconcile my later happiness with that.

Gary Simpson - I see. Thanks for having the courage to express those activities Cheri. Let's move on. What are three personal attributes you own which help one to win?

Cheri Merz - I'm smart, adaptable and incredibly competitive.

Gary Simpson - Hey Cheri! You didn't mention humble because lot!

Cheri Merz (laughing) - Well, Gary, you're the individual who informed me to give myself more credit.

Gary Simpson - Heh - you're right. I only agreed to be joking - just having just a little dig with the brutal honesty of one's self-appraisal. Seriously, I do like those who possess the confidence to tell the reality about themselves. Let's move on. Are which you reader and, if so, what books do you read?

Cheri Merz - I've read a signifigant amounts of works of fiction since my grandparents provided me with "Little Women" when I was at fourth grade. Up until a couple of years ago, what I read was virtually all fiction - classics, science fiction, fantasy, thrillers, even more modern literary works and also a bit of horror. I Then started to read books particularly about real estate, wealth building and success.

Gary Simpson - Gee, it sounds like we have rather similar tastes because regard - minus "Little Women," that is. This next question is certainly one of my favorites. Do you've got a well liked quote or saying and what is it?

Cheri Merz - I do. It's from Nido Qubein. He said something perfectly captures the spirit of my website. So, of each of the quotes I've collected and love, it should be my favorite right now. Here it is: "Wherever you are, whatever your needs may be, whatever misfortune you might have suffered, the background music of one's life has not gone. It's inside you - if you pay attention to it, it is possible to play it."

Gary Simpson - Yep. I need to admit - that's a very good saying. I can definitely relate to it myself. We've been talking a lot about positive influences. For a little bit of balance, let's briefly move over to the other side. What, if any, is one thing concerning the internet that annoys the most?

Cheri Merz - I suppose the vast, disorganized volume of information, misinformation and dis-information that abounds. what I am discussing here may be the information deliberately made to mislead. I like to be able to classify and discover information easily. Because with the "noise" from the garbage, the fantastic stuff is becoming harder to find. I think we've all become attention-deficient because of it.

Gary Simpson - You can point out that again. I'm appalled with the amount of trash about the internet - as you well know! If we might remove all the rubbish and also the pornography then we could free up about two-thirds of the bandwidth. Anyway, coming from a positive slant - what, in your opinion, could be the most advantageous feature of the internet?

Cheri Merz - The ability to fulfill and interact with folks I could not have met without it. My life will be a lot less rich without you and also Linda in particular. The likelihood individuals meeting devoid of the internet, given that we live in three different countries, would be nil. Add a number of others with a couple more continents whose friendship I value and to make sure simply amazing.

Gary Simpson - I agree your answer wholeheartedly. What project or projects do you imagine you're currently working on?

Cheri Merz - I've just formed a partnership to change the focus of and expand my property company. I'm very busy setting up a whole new business, focusing on recruiting agents and planning a marketing project which will put my newfound internet marketing skills to operate to aid expand our reach beyond our regional market.

Gary Simpson - Anything else?

Cheri Merz - Yes. I'm also taking care of adding a broker's license from your neighboring state to my current one. I'm supposed to be writing a couple of e-books, nevertheless they keep getting put off because one other projects are higher on my set of priorities. On top coming from all that, my garden calls me inside the evenings - I'm creating a brick border around among my flowerbeds. Oh - and I'm helping my daughter plan her wedding. Did I forget anything?

Gary Simpson - That sounds just like a lot to me. But you realize what you say? "If you need something done - ask a busy person. Lazy people never contain the time." Finally, Cheri, will there be anything else you would like to state or add towards the interview?

Cheri Merz - Yes, thank you! I want to speak towards the baby boomers among our readers and question them if they're coasting to their retirement years. I state that because the majority of my old friends are, and I don't understand it! We are way too young to settle into our rocking chairs for your duration. I referred earlier to my Grandfather. But my mother includes a similar story.

At 83, mom volunteers daily on the public library in their town. After she turned seventy she learned to use a pc to operate for my child genealogy hobby. Naturally, I am very happy with mom too. Maybe it is just during my genes but at fifty-seven, I've got several decades to accomplish a great deal more. Don't you?

Gary Simpson - Indeed I do Cheri. I heard somebody say once which they planned to wear out, not rust out. I thought that has been pretty clever, so I remembered it. It form of encapsulates a lots of that which you are actually speaking about here.

Cheri, thanks a lot much for utilizing the time for you to chat with me at night today. It's been a distinct pleasure and I'm sure that the whole readers, particularly the "baby boomers" will desire to go to your website. I wish you all the best with it.
